WestBond Appoints New Directors and Grants Stock Options

Delta, BC, May 7, 2003, WestBond Enterprises Corporation ("WestBond") is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank D. Barker and Dan Dawson as directors of WestBond.
Frank D. Barker is a partner and founder of Kinetic Capital Partners, which sources, structures and manages investments for Kinetic Capital Limited Partnership and Kinetic Capital TNT Limited Partnership, private equity funds. The funds' principal equity backer, Bartrac Holdings Ltd., is a private investment and holding company that formed part of the control block in Finning Tractor until 1986 and Whistler Mountain until 1997. Prior to founding Kinetic Capital Partners, Mr. Barker was Vice-President of finance for Bartrac Holdings Ltd.
Mr. Dawson is President of the Dawson Group of Companies, developers of residential communities in the lower mainland of British Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
The Board of WestBond now consists of Gennaro Magistrale, Owen Granger, J. Douglas Seppala, Frank D. Barker and Dan Dawson.
The appointments will fill two of the vacancies created by the resignation from the board of Eric Fidelak, Giovanni Trivella and Karl Rollke.
WestBond also announces that under it's stock option plan, it has granted incentive stock options to the new directors of WestBond, to purchase up to a total aggregate of 100,000 Common shares each in the capital stock of WestBond at a price of $0.15 per share. The options are exercisable for a period of five years ending on May 6, 2008.
